Traci’s journey began in the U.S. Air Force, where she served for two years in Guam, working on water purification systems. After completing her service, Traci returned to Michigan but felt a calling to go back to Guam. It was there that she started her journey in the construction industry, initially as a painter for a drywall contractor. Her ambition and determination soon led her to discover the lucrative and fulfilling world of drywall finishing. Over three years in Guam, Traci honed her skills and mastered her trade.

 

Returning to Michigan, Traci embarked on an 18-year career in new home construction, subcontracting for builders across the region. When the company she worked for downsized, she saw an opportunity to create something of her own. That’s when The Drywall Lady was born—a name that stands out, much like Traci herself, as one of the few female drywall contractors in the state.

 

In nearly 21 years of running her own business, Traci has earned the trust and admiration of many satisfied customers.
